Stimulating the economy one cruise at a time

We're going on a cruise!!!!

All winter long I've been eyeing up the cruise prices on Hobbit Travel. Dave and I would find great deals, then hem and haw over whether or not to buy the tickets. As soon as we would decide to buy the tickets, we'd call and hear that they had just sold out 1 day, or even 45 minutes before we called. Ugh. So on Monday I checked the website, and saw that the super good deals were back on again. Dave really had to talk me into it, but we finally called and booked the tickets!!

We leave on Saturday morning bright and early (we'll have to leave our house by 4 am). We'll be cruising on the Carnival Freedom for a 7 day/7 night cruise. We will hit Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ochos Rios. I am soooooo looking forward to WARM weather (if you're wondering how excited I am about this, check out this post and this post)!!!

Some people may be thinking, "You crazy people! You should be saving all of your extra money for the adoption!!!!". That's fine with us if people want to think that. We know how we are paying for the adoption, and we aren't worried about it. God has definitely shown us His provision throughout this journey. Plus, we wanted to enjoy each other on a luxurious "adult" vacation before we become parents. Thank you to those of you who encouraged us to do this for ourselves. We are very excited!! Oh, and thank you to President Bush for the stimulus package he has approved. Although I don't necessarily agree with the idea, I don't mind taking advantage of it.

We'll post pictures and stories when we get back!!!

Cruises are so much fun! You guys will have a blast!! We're planning an all-inclusive trip to Cancun in May or June as our last couple-only vacation before we become parents. It'll be a nice little break from waiting for our referral. Enjoy your time in the Caribbean ;).
